In week 3 of of our powerful series, ACTS I & II, Pastor Philip Anthony Mitchell walks us through Acts 2:1–13, revealing the power of the Holy Spirit at work in the early church. In the final Passover and Pentecost, the disciples had every reason to grow weary, frustrated, and full of doubt, yet they remained devoted to prayer and the Scriptures, holding fast to what Jesus said. Then suddenly, a sound like a mighty rushing wind filled the room, and the Holy Spirit was poured out. They were baptized and filled for the works of making disciples. Some heard the wonders of God and were drawn to transformation, while others responded with mockery.
