The Official Star Wars Mockumentary "R2-D2: Beneath the Dome"

This week on Skytalkers, we're diving into one of the strangest and most delightful corners of Star Wars history: R2-D2: Beneath the Dome. Released in 2001 as an official Lucasfilm mockumentary, the three-part special chronicled the "life and career" of R2-D2 as if he were a real Hollywood actor, complete with career highs, personal struggles, celebrity feuds, and a disastrous bungee-jumping stunt. On this episode:
The history of the project
The incredible cast and crew featured
Our favorite moments + some of the funniest bits
What legacy this mockumentary leaves for Star Wars marketing and humor (also, the Skywalker Ranch pool).
… and so much more.
