Show notes
Fusions are very special characters in the Steven Universe world, and creator Rebecca Sugar and former EP Ian Jones-Quartey explain all the planning that goes into their unveiling. You'll also hear about the early development stages for Smokey Quartz and Sardonyx, what inspired Stevonnie, and all of the clues in the pilot that pointed to Garnet being two separate Gems. Plus, AJ Michalka, voice of Stevonnie, talks about her audition process, finding the right voice for this special Fusion, and how singing has helped her voice over acting. And Stevonnie also joins to answer a few fan questions.
