U.S. Marshals were tasked with arresting a fugitive named Randy Weaver at his family cabin in the woods of Idaho. As they scouted the property, gunfire erupted, resulting in the deaths of deputy marshal Bill Degan, Randy’s teenage son Sammy, and his dog Striker.
