In this episode, we welcome Jay Risner to the studio. He is Lead Pastor of Faith Bible Church in Edmond, OK and the future Senior Pastor of a Faith Bible Church plant in NW Oklahoma City. In this interview, we discuss his pathway into ministry, what led him to Faith Bible Church, the challenges of doing ministry in a high income area where everyone thinks they’re a Christian, the circumstances around the rapid expansion of Faith Bible, the issues that come along with “worship-music-focused churches”, why taking people back to the text is always the best plan for a teaching pastor, and much more. Let’s get into it…
