Show notes
This week we are discussing the New Kids on the Block song Funky Funky Xmas, released in 1989. This blast from the past was meant to be a way to bring holiday cheer and remember a simpler time. Instead it's the story of a shameless cash-grab with several questionable figures, even more neglected children, and way too many Wahlbergs, enjoy.
Also in this prepisode music news of the weird, listener emails and we announce next week's album. In this episode we discuss Tim's latest failed business idea, some very troubling facts about Mark Wahlberg, the limits of merchandising, Tim's unironic defense of Donnie Wahlberg's acting career, Arsenio Hall, how magical is Santa exactly, how much one of our listeners really hates Tim, and so much more!
